House

Built at the beginning of the 20th century as a country house, the south-facing building has been rebuilt and extended several times. During one refurbishment some of the windows were bricked up for energy saving reasons: they could easily be reopened to restore the beautiful view over the unspoilt landscape.

In the early 1990s, the house was renovated to its current standard: the roof was insulated and renewed, the floors were tiled, and both a heating system and double-glazed windows were installed. The house maintains many of its original building elements, while its very high rooms and large windows give it a light and spacious ambience. However, some areas remain unrestored - including the large hayloft, which could be integrated into the main accommodation. The house is currently habitable, and offers sufficient space for a variety of possible uses.

Accessible via a large gate, the property is located on a small country lane that is maintained by the local municipality.

The remaining grounds belonging to the property are occupied by Mediterranean woodland.

Our personal opinion: isolated, but not lonely, the location id ideal, while the house is immediately habitable - it also offers great expansion potential, having ample space that could be utilised in a myriad of ways.
