This first class vineyard property is located 2 km from a village in the heart of the UNESCO Langhe and Monferrato World Heritage Site. Although excellent infrastructure including shopping, restaurants, markets, banks, schools, hospitals, etc. can be found in the immediate vicinity, the estate occupies a very private and quiet position. The Country House

A very comprehensive, meticulous restoration and expansion of the former wine farmhouse, built in the 19th century, was completed about 3 years ago. To maintain its authentic Piedmontese charm and character, original features were preserved wherever possible. High quality materials were used throughout, with a view to creating a low-maintenance environment. The grounds are also easily maintained; the vineyard is currently managed by a co-operative, and the wine is produced by a winery in the area.

Ground Floor

The house faces south, and all rooms have lots of light and a beautiful view. The ground floor has four very spacious rooms: two dining areas, a living room with an open fireplace, and a games room with a pool table. There is also a large, cozy country kitchen, a guest toilet, an entrance hall and an office. All rooms have large doors leading out onto the garden.

First Floor

Here there are five very luxuriously-appointed bedrooms, each with a bathroom, and a modern sauna with underfloor heating. Three of the bedrooms have access to a private terrace, and each has a gallery, accessible via a staircase, that provides an additional sleeping area. All 5 bedrooms and bathrooms could be used as guest suites.

Second Floor

A staircase leads from the first floor to the attic area with 2 more very spacious bedrooms, each with a bathroom, plus an additional living area.

Garden & Pool

The easily-maintained landscaped garden comprises a lawn surrounded by flowering shrubs, evergreen hedges, bushes and shade trees. At the centre of the garden is a 11m x 5m heated swimming pool with a large sun terrace and music system.


The property includes two outbuildings: the first is a large portico, located in the garden area opposite the house, used in the summer as a shaded seating area, that includes a summer kitchen - this could be further developed. The second outbuilding is a wooden structure, located next to the parking area, that serves as a garage and workshop.

Grounds & Vineyard

The property has approximately 1.8 Ha, of which 800 are a vineyard. One half of the vineyard is planted with red Barbera d'Asti vines, the other half with white Moscato d'Asti. The vineyard can be sub-let, or maintained by a local co-operative. The grapes are currently processed by a local wine producer to make own-label wine: this arrangement could be continued by a new owner.

Our personal opinion: An enchanting estate, perfectly presented with careful attention paid to the finest details. It is also very flexible: it could be used as a spacious private home, but would also make a fine guest house or agriturismo.
